To regenerate the world, we need the power of children.
Today, about 8.2 billion people live on Earth.
Among them, children aged 0 to 14 already number 2 billion—accounting for nearly one in four people worldwide.
Children consistently bring fresh ideas and a pure faith in what they believe.
They are the ones who will spend the longest time shaping and sustaining our future.

The UN Kids Summit is founded on the belief in children’s potential.
By supporting them, adults can help create systems that truly benefit the world.

A 10-Year-Old Boy Who Raised Over 80 Million Yen for Ukraine
In 2022, as Ukraine was devastated by war, many people lost their homes and access to food. In response, one 10-year-old boy took action.
He launched a project calling on children around the world to support Ukraine through art. The movement quickly spread across the globe, ultimately gathering more than 800 million yen worth of medical supplies and relief goods, which were delivered to support healthcare, energy, and food security.
This initiative was featured on UN Web TV and the official G7 website, and was reported by media outlets in countries including the UAE, the Netherlands, the United States, Malta, and Sri Lanka.

A Fateful Encounter in Cannes
The stage was the world-renowned Cannes International Film Festival in France.
On its red carpet stood a boy named Léa—quiet yet radiating a powerful presence.
At a high-level conference attended by figures such as Jacques Attali, Senior Adviser to the President of France, Léa posed this question:
“How can we create a world where children with disabilities can shine even more brightly?”
I had the honor of interpreting his heartfelt words to the world. From that very moment, a partnership was born—one that transcends age, nationality, and ability. Together, we set out on a journey to build the future.

The Future Is in Our Hands
Children have the power to dream, to act, and to change the world.
And for us, the adults, there is only one thing we can—and must—do:
to support those dreams through the power of technology.
Now, let us rise together.
Let us walk alongside children and, with our own hands, create a future where everyone can live with hope.
