登壇する子どもたち

Theofania Archontopoulou, born in Switzerland in 2013, is a young cellist who loves the ocean and nature, and whose exceptional talent has been recognized both as a soloist and as an ensemble musician. She began playing the cello at the age of six, and at eight, won first prize at the Zurich Music Competition.

Since then, she has received numerous prestigious awards, including Grand Prize Virtuoso Paris (2022), Grand Prize Virtuoso Bonn (2023), Rising Stars Riga (2023), and Nouvelles Étoiles (2024).

Named Cellist of the Year in 2024, she is also a 4-time first-prize winner at the London Young Musicians competition (2024 s4, 2025s1, s2, s3) and the Golden Classical Music Awards (2024), leading to a performance at the prestigious Carnegie Hall on December 2024. In 2025 she was awarded Platinum Prize at the World Classical Music Awards and Gold Prize at the World Artistry Music Awards competitions.

In Switzerland, she has won first prizes at the Swiss National Young Musician competition (2023, 2024) and the Zurich Youth Music competition four times between 2021 and 2024.

Theofania has performed on iconic stages like Carnegie Hall in New York, Cité de la Musique in Paris, Beethoven’s House in Bonn, and The Small Guild in Riga. 

She is studying music in Zakhar Bron School of Music in Zurich, under the guidance of her teacher Payam Taghadossi since 2022. She has also attended masterclasses with Claire Oppert, Xiaoming Wang, Maurice Steger and Anzel Gerber. 

With the ensemble Trio Amabile, she has played at various concerts, including the Ming Classics in Zurich, the Dolder Grand Hotel with the Gringolts Quartet and the Orchester Collegium Cantorum in ETH Zurich. Theofania, performed at the ‘Musique Au Paradis’ festival in France and in charitable concerts for children of Cambodia and Ukraine. She enjoys sharing her passion for music on stages worldwide.

テオファニア・アルコントポウルーは、2013年にヨーロッパで生まれ海と自然を愛する若きチェリストで、ソリストとしてもアンサンブル奏者としてもその卓越した才能が認められています。6歳でチェロを始め、8歳のときにはチューリッヒ音楽コンクールで第1位を受賞しました。

その後も数々の名誉ある賞を受賞しており、グランプリ・ヴィルトゥオーゾ・パリ（2022年）、グランプリ・ヴィルトゥオーゾ・ボン（2023年）、ライジングスターズ・リガ（2023年）、ヌーベル・エトワール（2024年）などが含まれます。

2024年には「チェリスト・オブ・ザ・イヤー」に選ばれ、ロンドン・ヤング・ミュージシャンズ・コンクールでも4度（2024年シーズン4、2025年シーズン1～3）第1位を獲得。また、ゴールデン・クラシカル・ミュージック・アワード（2024年）でも第1位を受賞し、2024年12月にはカーネギーホール（ニューヨーク）で演奏する機会を得ました。

2025年にはワールド・クラシカル・ミュージック・アワードでプラチナ賞、ワールド・アーティストリー・ミュージック・アワードで金賞を受賞しています。

スイス国内でも、スイス全国若手音楽家コンクール（2023年・2024年）で第1位を受賞し、チューリッヒ青少年音楽コンクールでは2021年から2024年までに4回第1位を獲得しました。

彼女はこれまでに、ニューヨークのカーネギーホール、パリのシテ・ド・ラ・ミュージック、ボンのベートーヴェンの家、リガのスモール・ギルドなど、世界の象徴的なステージで演奏を行っています。

現在はチューリッヒのザハール・ブロン音楽学校にて、パヤム・タガドッシ氏の指導のもとで学んでおり、2022年から在籍しています。これまでにクレール・オペール、シャオミン・ワン、モーリス・シュテーガー、アンゼル・ガーバーらのマスタークラスにも参加しています。

また、アンサンブル「トリオ・アマビーレ」の一員としても活躍しており、チューリッヒのミング・クラシックスやドルダー・グランド・ホテルでの演奏、グリンゴルツ・カルテットやETHチューリッヒのコレギウム・カントルム管弦楽団との共演も行っています。

フランスの「ムジーク・オ・パラディ」フェスティバルや、カンボジアやウクライナの子どもたちのためのチャリティーコンサートにも出演し、音楽への情熱を世界中の舞台で分かち合っています。
